Classes Offered

Home Economics

In my home economics class, students ages 7-12, learn the fundamentals of sewing and cooking.

Students will learn how to thread and use a sewing machine, sew straight lines, and construct items from fabric patterns and instructions. Students will also cook basic recipes that they will be able to easily replicate with little supervision. 

This class will give students skills of self-reliance, resilience, and fulfillment!

The home economics classes are held once a week on the following days:

Tuesdays from 10 am - 12 pm, 16 weeks long (August 20 - December 10 (Thanksgiving week off)

Wednesdays from 10 am - 12 pm, 16 week session (16 weeks) ***This class is full for fall 2024****

Thursdays from 10 am - 12 pm, 16 weeks long (August 22 - December 12 (Thanksgiving week off)

Tuition:

$90 paid every month that class is in session, starting the first day of class (for a total of $360 for the full semester.)

A $50 deposit is required to hold your spot. It will be applied to the tuition.

Payments can be made to my Venmo or by cash or check.

Class Size:

These classes max out at 4 children per class.

In my homesteading class, students ages 7-12, learn the fundamentals of gardening by planting and harvesting in the garden.  We take care of chickens by feeding, watering, and collecting their eggs.  We prepare and cook basic food that will help them feel comfortable in the kitchen and begin cooking on their own.

They will also learn traditional homesteading skills like tying knots, making butter, preserving the garden harvest, and more.

This class provides students with confidence and skills needed to live a self-reliant life!

The homesteading classes are held once a week on the following days:

Tuesdays from 1 pm - 3 pm, 10 week session

Wednesdays from 1 pm - 3 pm, semester long class (16 weeks) ****This class is full for fall 2024****

Thursdays from 1 pm - 3 pm, semester long class (16 weeks)

The 10 week class is $230 for the full session.

The semester class is $90 paid every month that class is in session for a total of $360 for the full semester.

A $50 deposit is required to hold your spot. It will be applied to the tuition.
